Sealy’s Posturepedic models are, essentially, the breadwinner of the mattress company’s line-up. Accounting for nearly half of Sealy’s total revenue, the Posturepedic offers a full line-up of mattress products – the Sealy Posturepedic Myrtle Blossom mattress being one of those products. Like most mattress model line-ups, there are the low-end products and the high end products. Where does the Myrtle Blossom fall? Keep reading to find out that the mattress review experts at qMattresses.com had to say.

The Myrtle Blossom model is considered one of Sealy’s mid-range products. There are qualities, however, that would better qualify the Myrtle Blossom as a low-end product and other qualities that would qualify it as a high-end product. The mix and match between high quality and lower quality features is what really makes the Sealy Posturepedic Myrtle Blossom a mid-range product.

The main low quality feature (actually – the only one) is the coil count. Fewer coils generally mean less support but according to the experts, this really isn’t the case with the Myrtle Blossom. Whether it’s because the coils are constructed from Titanium DSi or they are pocket coil mattresses, this mattress delivers support, despite the low coil count.

High quality features include the memory foam, the longer mattress life expectancy and the “Core Support” system, which gives the sleeper zoned comfort in the areas it is needed most.

Also noted in their review, the mattress review experts at qMattresses.com mentioned that the Myrtle Blossom mattress has a luxurious look to it. This statement is made because of the extra height Sealy added to the Myrtle Blossom mattress.

What was probably the most surprising was the fact that the mattress isn’t as high-priced as you might expect. While most mattresses of this caliper would cost you well over $1,000, the Sealy Posturepedic Myrtle Blossom is slightly under the thousand dollar mark.

Overall, the price isn’t outlandish, the support is enough to please even some high-end mattress buyers - most certainly low-end mattress buyers - and the Myrtle Blossom is backed by the Sealy name. But a mattress review isn’t quite enough to base an entire mattress purchase one, especially one this costly. Before you buy, you should take the time to also research mattress ratings, warranty information and mattress complaints for the Sealy Posturepedic Myrtle Blossom.
